Soprano Sofia Asghari (2001) successfully completed her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Singing at the Folkwang University of the Arts under the guidance of Professor Rachel Robins in Essen. She is now continuing her studies at the same institution, pursuing a Master’s degree.

It all began when 12-year-old Sofia discovered the Queen of the Night aria sung by Diana Damrau on YouTube. This powerful performance inspired her to trade her violin for classical singing. At the age of 14, Sofia began her studies in the Jong Talent class at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle, where she completed both the Jong Talent class and her preparatory studies, including theoretical courses as part of her bachelor's degree.

Her numerous guest performances and concert appearances include Klassiek op het Amstelveld in Amsterdam, the Mozart Ball in Zeist, the Tchaikovsky Ball in Amsterdam, Holland's Got Talent, Superkids, and benefit concerts for Africa...
